I believe that small roof leaks should be dealt with in a certain way. First, we need to find the problem so I will get in the attik or crawl space, locate the leak, then get up on the roof and see what is going on. Start small – for one, it will save you money and we may be able to fix or stop the leak without doing a large restoration project. Could be as simple as sealing some top nails, replacing a few pipe vent boots. If we need to get in to the roof and the small roof fixes didnt work, then you just paid 150.00 for me to figure out your roof leak and the small stuff still needed to get done. My point is, I dont work for free and 50.00 for a minimum is a great deal from a General contractor with 10 years of roofing experience.
